Portland Bowls Club

Portland Bowls Club are a long-established friendly small club. Their home ground is on Sutton Lawn. There is parking next to the entrance to the green, and are surrounded by the lovely Lawn park. 

Players numbers vary yearly, with their current status at approx. 20 members. Competitive matches are played Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Saturday afternoons, with other time which can be spent for practicing. 

Bowls is a very relaxing game, good steady exercise and is very easy to learn. The club welcome anyone who wishes to come and try the game, both experienced players and beginners.

Why not try it yourself or get some friends or colleagues together for a couple of hours, all you need is a flat pair of shoes, all other equipment and bowls will be provided, coaching will be available all for free.
