Applying text alternatives to images

All non-accessible images on the site are currently being looked at and replaced, and News and Events posts are only kept for the year we are in – any existing images that do not meet accessibility requirements will either be removed in January 2026 or are of some retentional importance and will be replaced by March 2026.

The ‘Discover Ashfield’ drop down menu has a known framework issue that prevents the drop down menu being dismissed / closed without moving the pointer focus.
