The route
Venture through beautiful countryside on this 6-mile route starting at Teversal Trails Visitor Centre, in Teversal village, to sample some of the landscapes of DH Lawrence's book, Lady Chatterley's Lover.

The Nottinghamshire author was born and brought up near Teversal, and often used places he knew as settings for his novels. Enjoy this walk through literary history, from the famous 1928 story set in the rural coalfields of West Nottinghamshire.

After the trail why not have a wander of nearby Teversal village. Head to the 7th century country house of Teversal Manor, which is the fictional setting for Wragby Hall in D.H. Lawrence’s book Lady Chatterley’s Lover. Literature fans can also take a trip to The Carnarvon Arms – formerly the Cross Keys – which was a local pub Lawrence was known to visit.
