Visitors can head to the Grade I listed Annesley Old Church that provides stunning views of the privately owned Annesley Hall. Nearby in Annesley Forest is Annesley Castle, which is the site of a former motte-and-bailey castle from the early 13th century.

Visitors can also head to the Grade II listed All Saints' Church that features stunning stained glass windows and Victorian Gothic architecture. The building dates back to 1874 and was created following the development of Annesley Colliery in the 1860s.
Annesley also offers a vibrant business community at Sherwood Business Park that has around 70 businesses, office space, and a hotel, located close to junction 27 of the M1.
