PROJECT STATUS:
Location chosen. Construction of Automated Distribution and Manufacturing Centre (ADMC) to start in 2024.
REGENERATION STRAND: Succeed in Ashfield
ADDRESS: Low Moor Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham, NG17 1BE

The proposed site for a £100 million innovation and technology park for Ashfield will be at Lowmoor Road, Sutton in Ashfield, opposite Sutton Parkway train station. Chosen for its size, transport links, and neighbouring industrial clusters, the park will include the Automated Distribution and Manufacturing Centre (ADMC).
The construction of ADMC is due to start in 2024. Ashfield District Council has agreed in principle to purchase the land for the innovation and technology park from Nottinghamshire County Council. The site will be a £100 million plus development that attracts inward investment and will create higher economic growth opportunities for Ashfield residents.

The £30 million ADMC is a 4000m2 purpose-built, multi-function centre, that will have technical experts, engineers and researchers to assist East Midlands businesses of any size to understand and adopt automation technologies and train staff. Learn more about the ADMC on our Regeneration page.
