The Teversal Trails is a circular route on former railway lines on the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire border.
You can start the route from the Teversal Visitors Centre heading North along the old railway towards Pleasley Pit Country Park, a former colliery site. Follow the path to Skegby village then after passing Coppy Wood you will return to the Visitors centre.
The trail is approximately 4miles long, on flat surface and ideal for walks, dogs and bike rides.
The Teversal Visitors Centre is a volunteer run community space serving good quality food and offering space for local groups.
There are regular events held at the Visitors centre and the surrounding grass areas.
Opening times are Monday - Sunday 9:30am - 2pm.
