Feel Good Families Learn to Cycle sessions, a great success!

Tuesday, July 9, 2019

Feel Good Families is a new project that aims to provide opportunities for families to spend time together within their local community.

The very first opportunity delivered as part of this project proved to be a great success and involved an opportunity for families to build their confidence to ride a bike safely. Supported by Via East Midlands, 4 x Learn to Cycle sessions were delivered on Sutton Lawn with over 20 young people and a few adults developing their skills and confidence to ride a bike, a skill that will enable them to be more active as a family.

The official launch for Feel good Families will take place at the Family Outdoor Cinema event, taking place on Sutton Lawn on Saturday 20th July. More Learn to Cycle sessions will be available for families to get involved in as part of this event.
