Discover Ashfield Awards 2023

After the success of last years Discover Ashfield Awards, they have returned for 2023. 

This year we have eight categories to celebrate people, groups, places and businesses across Ashfield within the last 12 months. 

Nominations are open from Monday 25th September to Tuesday 31st October and can be made at www.ashfield.gov.uk/discover-ashfield-awards-2023 

If you know of someone who deserves recognition please take the time to say thank you by nominating them for a Discover Ashfield Award.

Very Important Volunteer – Awarded to an individual who has shown outstanding commitment or achievement in an unpaid capacity by volunteering their time in Ashfield.

Brilliant Business – Awarded to a business or workplace that have shown brilliance in what they do, delivered outstanding customer service, or provided enhanced wellbeing support to staff.

Young Shining Star – Awarded to a young person aged 19 or under who has excelled in any way or shown amazing bravery or, perhaps under adversity, through leadership or in pioneering a community project.

Outstanding Organisation – Awarded to a charity / community group that has delivered amazing service to Ashfield’s residents and made a difference.

Phenomenal Project – Awarded to a project or programme that has been developed which has made an impact on the lives of residents

Community Champion – Awarded to a person who has championed all that is great in Ashfield, or who has sought to improve opportunities for those living in the district.

Super Hero – Awarded to someone who has been a real life superhero for others within Ashfield.

Places to Visit – Awarded to a place you love to visit within Ashfield

 

The Discover Ashfield Awards 2023 will work in partnership with the Education and Skills Partnership.
